This book and other books by Ed Emberley are nothing short of amazing! My six year old daughter had a blast making thumb and finger print drawings. Other members of the family of varied age groups find it equally intriguing. It is just astonishing that how many things we create with just a few strokes of lines. This book is bound to fire your imagination. You can make amazing greeting cards, birthday cards, messages… just be creative.

I see many kids (including mine) stuck to their DS or PS2 or other kind of video games and older ones to their ipods and whatnot! I find books like this and Ed’s other books such as Picture Pie as an oasis. They make neurons dance while you amaze yourself with creativity. Picture Pie is also a wonderful book to introduce geometry to little kids without using words like ‘math’ and ’study’!

If these books are not already part of your home library, please make them now. Thanks for reading.

I first saw this book at my children’s preschool. The teachers helped the children make many cute art projects with it. Now, my 5 & 7 year olds love this book! It’s great because they can follow the picture instructions step by step by themselves and the object they’re making actually looks like the one in the book! Really fun book! We love it for rainy days at home!

My children and I love this book. I am not much of an artist, but the pictures that I created with the help of this book actually resembled the pictures in the book!
