I ordered this and two other similair items. What a waste of money. Stories are useless, not even remotly scary. Background music & effects are worse again.

There should be a “Star Rating” of “0″, if there was that’s what I would be giving this product

I bought this book on the strength of the excellence of James Bennett’s work with Jerry Seinfeld, and the quality of that story and its companion live CD. Unfortunately, however, Carl Reiner has written a bland and empty story which my kids and I found totally uninteresting. Ditto for the unimaginative reading on the accompanying CD. James Bennett’s illustrations saved this from being a 1 star review.

I have two boys ages 3 and 5 and they love this book! They like being scared. One picture in the book, there is a monster that they don’t like to look at, but they still want me to read it. The book asks plenty of times if it is getting to scary for the child. But like I said my boys like that kind of stuff. I have to read this book to them every single night. The cd version found in the book has to be listened to over and over again in car rides too! I think I know the book by heart now!

My four-year-old grandson likes the story and wonderful pictures. My complaint is that the seller should have used a better mailing envelope. The book came with a deep crease in the spine of the book.

This is a fun read, and requested by my grandsons for many years. They pretty much read it with me now, and smile and nod everytime I turn a page. Everyone should meet “Mr. Neewollah”!
